MOVIES & COFFEE
- LOTS OF
LAUGHING & CHATTING
FOR THE SECOND
COFFEE FESTIVAL
AT SELC.
|
Students
from the
two English
for coffee-making
classes
practised
their new
skills
at making
Creamy
Cappuccinos,
Foamy Flat
Whites,
Mouth-Watering
Mochas,
Heavenly
Hot Chocolates
and Lovely
Lattes
at SELC's
2nd big
coffee
festival.
This
spectacular
event
was also
the perfect
occasion
for the
12 students
who had
produced
movies
while
studying
at SELC
to showcase
their
efforts.
The first
short
film
called
'Hanging
Out in
Sydney'
was about
a typical
day where
students
go on
ferries
to beautiful
places
near
the school
and have
a great
lunch
with
their
teacher
in the
city.
The other
film
was more
informational,
like
a documentary
in fact,
and provided
a background
history
to some
of the
more
famous
bays
and beaches
around
Sydney's
beautiful
harbour
area.
Students
and teachers
got together
for this
great
event
in the
new Café on
the first
floor
of the
school.
We were
all surprised
how great
the fresh
LAVAZZA
coffee
tasted
and how
skilled
the students
were
in serving
the coffees
to us
with
a smile.
We are
looking
forward
to more
events
like
this
with
more
creative
films
and more
delicious
coffees.
