"Last
month,
the
SELC
high
school
students
decided
to
have
a day
out
of
the
classroom
to
go
whale
watching.
It
was
an
early
start
with
the
team
from
Prodive
picking
up
the
students
at
SELC
at
8:30.
Within
an
hour
we
were
speeding
out
of
Sydney
Harbour
on
a big
beautiful
boat
as
the
sun
began
to
burn
through
the
clouds,
quite
a sight.
After
a short talk on whales from
the crew we headed down the
coast and it wasn't long
before we spotted 3 humpback
whales. For the next couple
of hours we cruised alongside
the whales as they majestically
swam side by side lifting
their huge tails out of the
water. The sun, the water,
the fresh air and, best of
all, the sight of these great
animals made for a wonderful
day that the high school
students and their lucky
teachers thoroughly enjoyed."
